Nightclub District, Limbo City, Tuesday Evening

Anders wasn't always much of a dancer, but something about the stickiness of summer had him wanting to lose himself among strangers and move to the kind of music he could feel through his whole body. He dressed in a sleeveless shirt and dark fitted jeans after work, hair loose around his face, and collected Dante for a minor adventure.

"Where should we start?" he asked his companion. "I might be able to get on the guest list at the place across the street. The manager had this rash..."

"Oh thank fuck," Anders said ardently, and copped one last squeeze of ass before stepping back.

Dante slid his hands out of Anders' waistband, his expression an almost strange mixture of turned-on smirk and deep, almost feverish affection.

He reached for Anders' hand. "C'mon."

"Coming," Anders said, and allowed himself a sky grin at the double entendre. "... after we get home. Should we get a taxi? I want to get a taxi."

Dante laughed softly. "Already pulling up the app," he promised, pulling the phone out of his pocket and tapping his way through to the right screen.

"You're amazing," Anders said, not just talking about using the app. "We'll get home a lot faster this way."

"You just wanna make out in the back seat," Dante sing-songed, mostly because he wanted to make out in the back seat.

Anders laughed, acknowledging that Dante was right.

"Do you blame me?"

Dante reached for his hand. "Only if you don't blame me," he said, "Because I would fuckin' love to make out with you in the back seat."

"That's one problem with your bike," Anders said wistfully. "It's a lot harder to kiss you when we're in motion."

"That's when you tell me to park it in an alley so you can crawl all over me on the bike," Dante said practically, as he watched a car pull up near them.

"... oh, sure, be logical about it," Anders said, and squinted at the car. "Is that our ride?"

Dante pulled his phone back out of his pocket. "Looks like it," he said, tugging Anders along. "C'mon."

Anders squeezed Dante's hand in response, climbing into the car and sliding across. The driver got a quick nod of greeting before Anders gave him their home address.

Thankfully, their driver wasn't a talker. Dante slid into a seat and basically plastered himself to Anders' side. "Now this is some fuckin' luxury right here."

"I feel fancier already," Anders agreed, glancing around. "There are even bottles of water if we want them."

His hand rested at the small of Dante's back as he leaned into the other man.

"Maybe in a minute," Dante murmured, and then his lips were on Anders', his hand settling on Anders' thigh.

Anders pressed back into the kiss, more tender than fierce. His lips parted slightly as his tongue sought out Dante's.

Dante's mouth opened like a sigh, his fingers rubbing idle patterns on the inside of Anders' thigh. The car was driving now, the seat moving gently underneath them. The driver had put on some pop station that blended easily into the background.

It was easy to pretend there was no one else there.

There wasn't anyone there, was there? It was them and the moving car and some pop singer chirping about new love, and Anders would have happily stopped time. He let out a low moan as he spread his knees wider.

Dante's hand didn't dip deeper, obeying the unwritten laws of the back seat make-out. But he pressed a little closer, kissed Anders a little more fiercely, his free hand sliding back under Anders' shirt until he found the warm skin underneath.

Some part of Anders dimly appreciated Dante's restraint in not moving up his thigh; he wasn't sure he had any of his own.

He kept the kissing just as eager and fierce, one hand in Dante's hair while the other splayed against his leg.

Dante moaned softly against his mouth, the driver's sharp turn pushing him further towards Anders--

Into Anders' lap, really. He couldn't help it.

Anders laughed softly at the sudden weight, and wrapped his arms around Dante's back so he wouldn't slide away again. They were so close now that he could feel the thud of Dante's heartbeat against his own skin.

"Best taxi ride ever," he whispered.

"Gonna be an even better homecoming," Dante said, voice low.

He pressed another kiss to Anders' mouth. And another, slower, more deliberate, his hand sliding up further and hiking up his shirt.

"Pretty soon now," Anders agreed, and then sucked in his breath and his gut in an attempt to urge Dante's hand to linger on his skin. His mouth pressed ardently against Dante's.
