Room 322, Tuesday Afternoon

After Bob's class, Anders hurried back to his room and was pleased to find he had it to himself. He exiled Lachlan to roam the halls -- exploration was good for cats, wasn't it? -- and then hurriedly straightened his side, which mostly entailed shoving dirty clothes under the bed and stacking his books and papers so they looked almost organized. He debated over the door for a moment, finally deciding to leave it halfway open.

And then he drew a ragged breath and flopped onto his bed, trying to look like he was perfectly calm and composed. He didn't entirely succeed. He was emotional at the best of times, and the sex pollen had him what felt like permanently off-balance. Though the promise of a visit from Nathan might help with that ... at least for a while.

"Lucky you," Anders murmured in return, pulling back just enough that he could talk too. His hand moved up, petting the back of Nathan's hair. "Probably I'll come up with lots of other reasons to kiss you if you stick around."

"Will you?" Nathan asked, leaning down and giving Anders' lower lip a quick kiss. "Mmm, I might have to stay, then."

"So glad I can talk you into it," Anders laughed, lowering his hand to finish undoing his trousers and push them down his hips. He had to admit, it was exciting to be almost naked when Nathan still had everything on. "I wasn't sure."

He pressed back into that kiss with some teeth.

And Nathan was just going to take advantage of the lack of clothes by sliding one hand down and along his stomach, fingers soft and light but definitely there.

He shivered at the sharpness of the kiss, leaning closer instinctively.

Anders sighed at the combination of the exploration and the way Nathan was leaning toward him, stomach muscles tight to encourage the fingers.

Words seemed to be beside the point, so he saved his lips to press for a deeper kiss.

Nathan was fine with a deeper kiss. Very fine. So very fine. His fingers pressed down against Anders' stomach, feeling the warm skin between his fingers and sighing at that sensation.

Exploration was nice but maybe he wanted something to hold onto while he was getting kissed.

If his fingers went just a few inches further down, they'd find the beginnings of a promising swelling beneath Anders' shorts. It wasn't a full erection yet, but Nathan could probably help with that if he were so inclined.

Anders clutched his fingers on Nathan's shirt and nudged forward, trying to step out of his pants and steer them toward the bed. He believed in multitasking.

Nathan's hand didn't move just yet but that was probably due to him trying to walk and kiss all at once. His focus wasn't great this week so he wasn't going to push it if he could.

Anders would have sworn he was focused and coordinated enough to kiss, touch, and walk all at once -- and would have kept swearing it until he bumped hard into the edge of the bed and winced. "Ow," he murmured, though he hadn't hurt himself enough to want to break contact.

Nathan didn't move away but he did stop kissing for a second because he couldn't hold back a quiet snicker.

"Are you all right?" he wondered. "Walking isn't really going well this week, is it?"

"Not when I'm trying to do three other things at the same time it's not," Anders agreed easily enough, and sat down on the bed. "I'm fine. But maybe I should stop walking for a while just to make sure."

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to laugh," he replied, standing over Anders so he could run both hand through his hair. "It just surprised me."

"Hmm?" Anders said, shutting his eyes and sounding even more distracted. "Oh, don't worry. I probably would have laughed if it were you."

He all but purred as Nathan touched his hair. He hadn't taken out the bit of leather he tied it back with yet; he tried to angle his head to encourage Nathan to do that for him.

"You want me to take it down?" he guessed, working his fingers back towards the tie. "I can do that."

And he'd do it carefully, not wanting to catch hair in the tie and cause pain.

"I like the way you do it," Anders explained, letting out a long, slow breath. He kept his head still to make things easier on Nathan. "Thank you."

"I don't know if I could ever have my hair this long," he murmured as he took the tie out and let Anders' hair down. He sighed at the touch and let his fingers skim through it and then down to the back of his neck.

"Sure you could," Anders said, tilting his head back to see Nathan's face. "All you have to do is not cut it for a while."

He reached out his hands, idly stroking at the sides of Nathan's hips.

"I think it'd annoy me," Nathan told him, shrugging. "It'd tickle. And if I sleep outside, it's more hair to get mud or snow or something else in. Not really conducive to moving quickly and staying clean."

"That's why I always tie it back," Anders told him, with a little shrug -- fond as he was of his hair, the style wasn't for everyone. "Makes it much easier to deal with. Besides, sometimes somebody nice is willing to play with it and that makes up for a lot."

He was wondering if they were really going to talk about hairstyling now, but managed to be patient. It wasn't like he had anywhere else to be.

"You're just full of sweet words today," Nathan returned with a smile. He pulled his hand away from Anders' hair and gave his shoulders a little push. "Lay back."

Anders grinned as he followed that particular order, turning to get his head on the pillow. "Do you have me where you want me now?"

"I think so," Nathan murmured, reaching to shuck his shirt off before he joined Anders on the bed. He stayed off to one side to give himself a more comfortable angle to lean down and kiss the other boy's chest.

Anders wriggled a bit under the kisses, reaching his hands up and toward Nathan to trace them over whatever bare skin he could reach.

"Does that tickle?" Nathan asked, flicking his tongue out briefly, testing that out before trailing kisses down his stomach.

"Only in the best way," Anders said, sounding spellbound. His fingers moved up to tease at Nathan's nipple. ".... do that thing with your tongue again."
