It had been a bright, clear morning when Anders and Kathy got into the portal in Fandom, and it remained bright and clear when they stumbled out of the Portalocity terminal attached to the Explorean resort.

He was getting another kiss for making her laugh, though her giggles probably kept it from being properly sexy.

"A gold diver," Anders said, before he started giggling too. "It's much higher-class."

"I think I'm going to keep kissing you, rather than trying to picture exactly how that would work," Kathy said with another soft laugh. "I mean, if you have no objections to that."

"We have all week to revisit the idea of mermaids," Kathy agreed, tilting her head to offer up her throat for kisses, too. "Though we might continue to be distracted by kissing."

"Is there something bad about that?" Anders asked innocently, hand sliding under Kathy's top.

"Mmm..." Kathy sighed, arching into his hand. "Only if you were hoping to see something other than this bed."

"The rest of the island will still be here tomorrow," Anders rationalized, and let that hand drift further up. "We should rest before we sightsee."

"You're the healer," Kathy said with a nod. "Clearly you know what you're talking about. And if you think we should spend the rest of the day in bed, I can't really argue."

"You should never argue with me," Anders agreed, hands straying toward the bottom curves of her breasts. "Not where your health is concerned."

"Probably should just make it a point to never argue with you, period," she admitted ruefully. "Save myself a lot of trouble that way."

Not that his hands softly caressing her made her want to argue much in the first place.

"See?" Anders said, a light laugh in his voice. "After knowing me for three years, you're finally catching on."

Kathy's hands fell to Anders' shirt, slowly pushing the fabric out of the way. "Is that a hint you want to be in charge now?" she asked with a wink and a dirty smile. "I could be okay with that."

"I think it does," Anders mused, and tried to capture Kathy's wrists. "I haven't bossed you around nearly enough."

Kathy couldn't hide the flare of interest that crossed her face and wouldn't have even if she could. Her wrists in his hands felt small and fragile and she looked up at him with pupils blown. "You have a point," she agreed, voice a little breathy. "I could use a firm hand or two, I think."

"I need to get you under control," Anders agreed, swiftly moving to straddle her middle while her wrists in his hands stayed firm on the mattress. His stomach felt hot with desire, and he couldn't stop watching the hungry look on her face and knowing it was for him.

"It's a shame," he said. "Good girls go bad so easily. Look away and they're round the bend." A pause. "And I think you're turning into a bad girl."
